Smart Data City (SDC) is Nuklai’s vision of building a unified smart data ecosystem.

The SDC will create an inclusive, collaborative data ecosystem where institutions, individuals, and project builders come together to innovate and create. 

With so many milestones and achievements already past us, including a successful launch, the first Smart Data research projects, and the first buidlers committed to building on Nuklai, we're excited to update you on our journey towards this vision.

Nuklai Smart Data Layer 1: A Flexible Foundation for Innovation

Currently in the pre-testnet phase and moving soon to the Nuklai Helix Testnet, this layer provides a dedicated dual network architecture for smart data. It also will support multiple programming languages for smart contracts. 

The Smart Data Layer 1 foundation enhances data governance and security for collaboration while empowering developers to create innovative projects on top of the Nuklai network. It’s also setting the stage for a strong and flexible smart data ecosystem.

Smart Data Onboarding and Querying: Seamless Integration and Insights

We are also developing connectors for seamless data publishing from managed environments (e.g., cloud) and implementing improved query and deep contextualization capabilities in the Nuklai app. This will enable users to combine data from multiple sources. 

These advancements will streamline data integration and analysis, opening up new possibilities for deeper smart data insights and more sophisticated AI training. It’s a game-changer for organizations looking to leverage their data more effectively.

App Migration Testnet: Optimized Operations and User Experience

The App Migration Testnet ensures a smooth transition from the Avalanche Mainnet to the Nuklai Helix test network. We are developing functionality to integrate all existing and new capabilities within Nuklai’s network and app. 

This migration allows the app to operate on Nuklai’s network, where operations can be optimized for data collaboration and sharing. Some operations can be made gas-free or more efficient based on specific requirements, resulting in a significantly improved user experience.
