In parallel to working on the business development, Nuklai's team has also been busy preparing to extend its ecosystem through feature adds and integrations. With this first Development update, we’re kickstarting our regular series, with some key milestones achieved across the board.
Enriching Metadata of Free Datasets
As part of the long-awaited beta release of the Nuklai marketplace, we provided some datasets for free, allowing early users to immediately start using the platform. The response we received on our Telegram has been overwhelmingly positive.
The core of the Nuklai data ecosystem is its enriched metadata. Initially, contributors could only enhance the metadata of commercial datasets.
Due to community demand, we’ve decided to extend this functionality and users will now be able to enhance the metadata of free datasets. We’re excited to see what contributions we will get on the metadata of the free datasets. You can get started here.
Integration of LiFi Widget for Swapping and Bridging
Thanks to user feedback, we have integrated the LiFi widget. LiFi enables users to bridge funds on another EVM network to the Avalanche network.
This feature also allows users to swap any funds they have on the Avalanche network for USDC.e, which facilitates data subscriptions on the Nuklai marketplace. This integration improves the platform's flexibility and user experience – check it out here.
Bug Bounty Program, Bug Fixes, and Community Feedback
Along with new updates and integrations, we have also addressed several minor bugs reported by users.
The community's feedback is invaluable to us, and we remain committed to resolving any emerging issues as fast as possible. The bug bounty program for our smart contract is still open, we invite you to submit anything you find in Nuklai's smart contracts.
Future Developments: Nuklai API for Easy Data Uploads
We are dedicated to creating an ecosystem that serves developers and data professionals, allowing them to interact with our platform programmatically.
To achieve this ecosystem, we are improving Nuklai's API. The current REST API enables users to query and access subscribed data. We are now expanding this capability to allow users to also upload data through the API.
This enhancement will simplify uploading data and will allow organizations to onboard so they can automate processes for regular updates of their data. Put simply, it unlocks automation around datasets in Nuklai's ecosystem.
As the Nuklai marketplace continues to expand and evolve within the beta phase, these developments are another step to realizing our vision of unifying a fragmented data landscape.
